FERENGI
The Ferengi
are a Humanoid race with many distinguishable characteristics. None
more apparent than their large ears and small size. They are a highly
advanced in the technological stakes, and are a race of ruthless capitalists,
who will stop at nothing to make a profit. There is one main deference
which can not be spotted by the eye. They possess four-lobed brains
which can not be read by telepaths. this has given them a unique
advantage that has enabled them to become a race of galactic merchant traders
without peer. Female Ferengi on the other hand are another story.
They have no rights and are treated by the males as an item of property.
The home planet of the Ferengi is "Ferenginar", and M class planet with
a thin atmosphere found in the Alpha Quadrant. The most prominent
building on the planet is the Tower of commerce. The Ferengi follow
by the letter what is known as the "Rules of Acquisition". These
are a code, actually 285 rules, by which each Ferengi must conduct their
affairs. These rules are manipulated to attain as much wealth as
possible. To break the code is to be an out cast and you are severely
dealt with by the "Grand Nagus", who is the pinnacle of Ferengi Hierarchy.
